Year 2 Author Visit

The children in Year Two enjoyed a visit from author Polly Ho-Yen: writer of ‘Boy in the Tower’, ‘Where Monster’s Lie’ and ‘Fly Me Home’. Polly was funded by a project called ‘A place for words’ which ties in well with a pilot study on extending vocabulary, carried out by the Year Two children this year.

Polly inspired the children to write poetry about Ampthill Park and they produced some fantastic results!
