Teaching Talons Visit to Year 1

Getting up close and handling a variety of animals such as reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and mammals.
Our Y1 children were enthralled by the amazing range of animals brought in by Teaching Talons today.
There were many moments of 'awe and wonder' as children had the opportunity to stroke a lizard and feed a guinea pig. They met an owl, cockroach and a stick insect before being entertained by ‘Chip’ the dog.
In fact Chip was perhaps one of the highlights of the experience, he certainly won out in terms of the ‘ahhhh’ factor!
